Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane on Thursday left for Bangladesh on a five-day visit to additional develop cooperation and coordination between the 2 nations on a bunch of strategic points.

Besides armies of Bangladesh and India, the train is being participated by Bhutan and Sri Lanka together with observers from the US, the UK, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
The Chief of the Army Staff can also be scheduled to work together with the members of the Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support and Training Operations (BIPSOT), the Army spokesperson stated.
He stated General Naravane may also attend a seminar on UN peace assist operations and ship a keynote tackle on ‘altering nature of worldwide conflicts: function of UN peacekeepers’.
The Army chief can also be scheduled to visit the Mujibur Rahman memorial museum in Dhanmondi the place he pays tributes to the founding father of that nation.
