Night curfew imposed in Ghaziabad

An evening curfew has been imposed in Ghaziabad following a rise in coronavirus cases in the area. The restriction will stay efficient until April 17. It will go on from 10 pm until 5 am. 

“It has been decided to impose night curfew from 10 pm to 5 am in Ghaziabad district. The order comes into effect from tonight,” Ghaziabad District Magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey mentioned in the present day. 

Meanwhile, the Gautam Buddh Nagar administration has additionally implement an evening curfew in Ghaziabad to regulate Covid cases. 

Uttar Pradesh has been witnessing a spike in Covid-19 cases since the previous few days. The state reported 40 coronavirus fatalities, highest in latest weeks, and 6,023 new cases on Wednesday, pushing the toll to eight,964 and the tally to six,45,930. 

On Wednesday, the Lucknow administration imposed an evening curfew in areas beneath the Lucknow Municipal Corporation from Thursday until April 16 from 9 pm to six am. The Lucknow district administration mentioned that each one instructional establishments, barring medical, nursing and para-medical institutes, would stay closed until April 15. Examinations could be allowed in recognised instructional institutes with strict adherence to protocols.

Night curfew has additionally been imposed in Kanpur from 10 pm to six am and can stay in place until April 30.
